All information included on Sabadell.net is handled with absolute and strict confidentiality.

1- Data processing

Only names, personal (work or electronic) addresses, telephone numbers or any other personal data which have been voluntarily sent by users are collected or captured, and only for carrying out specific procedures that require them.
Confidentiality is guaranteed in processing all personal data which can be accessed as a consequence of registration on Sabadell.net.
Registration with personal data will only be requested when this is necessary for applying for a service provided through Sabadell.net. The data obtained and any originated as a consequence of carrying out the service that may be necessary for the development, monitoring, management and carrying out of the procedures requested will be incorporated in files created for such a purpose.
Both those responsible for the files and those involved at any stage of processing are subject to the strictest professional secrecy, with a special commitment to adopting the levels of protection and technical and organisational measures necessary to ensure the security of personal data and to prevent its alteration, misuse, loss, theft or unauthorised processing or access.
Finally, Sabadell City Council guarantees that both the files and programmes, as will as the equipment and premises involved in the process of processing the stored data, meet the integrity and security requirements of current regulations at all times.

2- Rights and obligations

Users may exercise all rights recognised by the personal data protection regulations in force at all times, particularly the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and challenge. These rights must be exercised through a signed request at any citizens' information. Users using the services offered by Sabadell.net must provide the data requested according to the principle of good faith, so inaccurate or false information may not be given.

3- Transfers
|

Personal data collected as a consequence of registering on Sabadell.net will not be provided or communicated to third parties outside the City Council except where this is necessary for providing the requested service or where it is required by the competent public authorities in accordance with legal provisions and regulations applicable at all times.

4- Consent
|
|
An application for a procedure via the portal will involve the express acceptance without reservations of the personal data protection policy maintained by Sabadell City Council explained in the Legal Notification which you will find at the bottom of the Sabadell.net data collection form.
The introduction and registration of personal data by the user implies acceptance and express authorisation for the City Council to collect it and include it in the corresponding files and for the necessary processing of personal data, along with voluntary acceptance of the transfer of recorded data only when this is necessary for providing the requested service and, finally, authorisation for keeping it during the periods laid down in the applicable legal provisions.
As user authorisation for the processing and transfers mentioned is voluntary, the user may revoke the authorisation granted, both concerning processing and the transfer of data, under the terms laid down in the data protection regulations in force at all times.

5- Rights of those involved
|
Users may, at any time, exercise the rights recognised by the data protection regulations and, in particular, the rights of access, rectification, cancellation and challenge, as well as the right to revoke consent given for the transfer of their personal data. These rights can be exercised both by users and by their representatives by way of a written request signed personally at the .

The request must contain the following information: the user's name and surnames, address, a photocopy of the identity card or passport and the specific details of the right being exercised.

6- Secure transactions
|

The communication of personal data to Sabadell City Council via the Sabadell.net portal is always carried out within a secure environment.
All confidential information, including personal data, is kept confidential thanks to the use of secure server software (SSL), which means the data can only be exchanged between the user and the City Council and that third parties cannot access this data. The padlock symbol on your browser (such as, for example, when a procedure is requested) indicates which pages are covered by this security system.

7- Cookies
|
|
Cookies are small text files that the browser stores on the user's computer's hard disk and which are only associated with an anonymous user. They cannot read data from the user's hard disk nor cookies deposited by other suppliers through their websites.
The Sabadell.net portal uses cookies only to obtain information about the date and time the user visited our portal and the contents selected when browsing, in order to create portal usage statistics.
As a monitoring mechanism, users have the option to set up their browsers to be warned about the receipt of cookies on their computers, although the City Council takes no responsibility for their deactivation preventing the proper functioning of the site.

8- Applicable legislation

The privacy of all the information provided, both that provided by users through the various forms requesting personal data, and that accessible through Sabadell.net, is regulated by the Organic Personal Data Protection Act 15/99, 13 December and by the regulations developed from it.
