Usage conditions

The purpose of the Sabadell.net portal is to move forward towards the concept of open administration, presenting in digital form the range of services that Sabadell City Council provides for its citizens, facilitating access by any interested person to the information the Council has available about the city, publicising the activities and services offered by the City Council and using the Net as an important means for interacting with citizens.

4- Contents

The data and contents that appear published on Sabadell.net are there purely for information. The user assumes, knows and accepts that they may be inaccurate, contain errors or not be properly updated.

Sabadell City Council reserves the right to amend the published content unilaterally and without prior warning, to introduce new contents and to temporarily or permanently eliminate, limit, prevent or suspend user access to certain contents of Sabadell.net, depending on the needs of the services offered and the general conditions published on the portal.

In accordance with the citizens' rights protection policy practised by Sabadell City Council, the contents of Sabadell.net will be especially adapted to the principles of legality, honesty, responsibility, confidentiality, protection of human dignity, protection of minors, protection of public order, protection of private life, consumer protection in e-commerce and protection of industrial and intellectual property rights.

Sabadell City Council cannot guarantee access to Sabadell.net without interruptions, disconnections, delays, malfunctions or other problems outside the Council's control.

Sabadell City Council does not assume any responsibility deriving from damage that may be caused to user equipment as a consequence of the existence of any computer viruses that the user may contract because of browsing on Sabadell.net.

Temporary copies (Catching)

Users are recommended to continually refresh the contents they find in their computers' temporary memories in order to receive fully updated information.

Sabadell City Council will not be responsible for the updating of temporary copies or for them not having been manipulated by persons unconnected with Sabadell.net.

Contents

Sabadell City Council takes no responsibility for the use the user makes of the contents published on Sabadell.net.

The City Council cannot guarantee the usefulness, relevance or freedom from errors of the content provided on Sabadell.net, which in all cases is offered as information for guidance only. This information cannot be considered infallible and users must compare it with other sources before adopting any opinion or decision.

Finally, Sabadell City Council cannot be held responsible for the contents (services, procedures or any other information) offered to users by outside organisations linked through the Sabadell.net portal.

6- Intellectual and industrial property rights

All elements of the Sabadell.net portal (including but not restricted to, source codes, databases, design, images, photographs, drawings, graphics, applicatives, search engines, pages, logos, trademarks and commercial names) are the property of, have been transferred to or are licensed by Sabadell City Council (unless expressly indicated). Copyright and exploitation rights of all kinds are therefore protected by national and international intellectual and industrial property regulations, infringement of which is an illegal and criminal act.

In particular, but without limiting the user's obligations expressed in the previous section, the reproduction, except for private use, transformation, distribution, public communication and, in general, any other form of exploitation for any procedure, of all or part of the contents of Sabadell.net is prohibited, as well as its design and the selection and form of presentation of the materials included.

Similarly, users must refrain from decompiling, disassembling, sublicensing or transmitting in any form, and from translating or carrying out work deriving from the computer programmes necessary for the functioning and use of the portal or access to it.

4- The terms or conditions of use of the external website and compliance with, or modification, execution and resolution of these.

8- Jurisdiction applying

Legal conflicts or controversies that may derive from the existence of, access to or use of these general conditions will be dealt with under the jurisdiction of the competent State courts and tribunals in each case.
